Offered in 5, 10, and 20 micron ratings, hydraulic filter media reduces pressure drop without compromising other filter performance metrics. Differential pressure means hydraulic systems do not need to divert energy to push fluid through highly resistant filter. For 10 micron version, resistance measurement is 3.5 mm of water at 5.3 cm/sec flow. Media can be used either to produce product with lower delta pressure or reduce size of filter and maintain equivalent performance.
